well maybe the reason i never did was because of the nasty smelling mushroom burgers that you get at carls jr/hardees. maybe i'll give actual "mushrooms" a try on my pizza some day

Most of the time, no.
You do this when they are really busy and swamped with orders.
Yours gets lost very easily in the confusion.
