Actually I was just reading the posts and remembering how sports are just one of those things I could never force myself to learn. Sometimes I wish I knew more.

Did you grow up playing sports? It was never something I really ever had to force myself to learn I guess it just kind of happened

Hells yeah. Everyone in my family has played sports for either school or a league.

same, I played a little of everything. Mostly soccer until I reached middle school. Then played football and wrestled in high school.
even my mom played sports until she was 40. while having cancer.

I played baseball, football, and wrestling. I liked to play but had no interest in sports unless I was participating.
To be honest, it is very overwhelming to me. I like statistics and love to read, but I can't find any way to get interested in televised sports.

Yeah I know what you mean, it's a little easier for now-a-days though to keep track of all that stuff, with the internet, tv, text updates, fantasy leagues, etc. I know what you mean though, that shit blew my mind at first

If I watch a game on TV its probably college ball, at least they try to pretend they still have sportsmanship.
I played football into high school, but quit to lift weights as a full time sport, not competition but just some self improvement.
I'm glad I did, but having shitty form and too much energy as a kid can still be felt in my joints.
