What makes Purple Weed special

Is it just cause purple nugs look really badass or what? Why would you choose to grow some purple?

I think its mostly the aesthetic appeal of it more than anything, there's plenty of strains equally or more potent than any purple strains.

I heard about that study.  I think it said blue buds make you horny and plaid ones get you the highest.

Yeah it's just aesthetics, most of the purple I've had has been good bud but not more potent than some other stuff floating around.
