Cant find it due too known facts..... thread i recall was "Coloring your Bud" i remember a guy had changed the color of his bud with food coloring. he took several threaded needles dipped them into color of choice food coloring, then threaded it threw secondary stems, nearest too the bottom 2weeks before harvest, i remember pictures he posted and it worked.... if any body as link too a similiar thread can u post, as i would actually like too try this experiment and see if it works, or if it was bullshit, always been intrigue with this experiment....if it does work, i wonder if the color stays threw out drying\curing, any one ever try this?

I can see where it would be a neat experiment.
Why not try it and let us know? I probably wouldn't go for it myself, but I'd be interested in seeing someone elses

Yeah, seems like a neat concept. Would be fun to check out, and I'd certainly smoke it afterwards, I'm sure theres nothing too bad about that (hell, a lot of us used to smoke out of old soda cans, which I'm sure is worse than smoking food coloring ).
Just don't do something shitty and try to sell it at marked up prices if it works

I remember reading that on the OG, but I don't recall if the person actually had success. I don't recall any pictures to prove it either.

although i dont think it has the desired effect of long lasting, and i think the colors only penetrate threw stem n leaf not bud....

I have no clue if this will work with MJ plants, but when I worked in a flower shop, we did something similar to give white roses a tint of a different color, eg. Blue, purple, black, mainly colors you didn't see on a flower...
We'd use food coloring and warm water (the flowers absorb warm water faster than cold), and let em sit out of the cooler for a few hours, drinking it up. In a few hours, the flowers would have a definitely different colored tinge to it.
Again, I have no clue if this would work for plants that were still living, but you might try this right after you've harvested. Keep in mind this works best when the stems are re-cut underwater (this keeps an airbubble from blocking the end of the stem...
