just curious how many growers who post on this site use a proxy.
ive downloaded torbutton on firefox but dont use it much as im not growing yet so i got nothing to hide.
just wondering whether its a neccesary precaution for growers.

Not for this site but i use tor for other sites sometimes

Please, please do some reading on web anonymity, because have you no idea what a proxy does. You made the same thread about some torrent proxy blacklisting program a while back. 
Before you would like to grow, PM an admin or mod, if you're too lazy to do your own research.

 i dont really have a clue what it all means.
its all a different language to me, but i thought TOR basicly just made it look like i was browsing the internet via a different IP. so it would make it harder for anyone to track the location of my computer or whatever.
how far off am i 
and i dont remember making the same thread a while ago

I know the shroomery allows a puppet account if you ask the mods/admins specifically for cultivation if you're paranoid  I had one there, it just restricts you to the relevant sections of the forum.
I assume they have the same policies here?
