 Winter Sicknesses? (Poll)

So as of, about a week ago, my little sister, got the whooping cough.
(Got her some good meds though  )
And I've had 2 cold, and what seems to be a non-stop bloody nose.
And yet, we live in the desert. 20-30 is the coldest we get here, minus windchill, and other weather factors.
So I was just wondering, what winter sicknesses do you guys get?
How often? How serious?
And as always, feel free to talk about other sicknesses as well.

I get a cold and/or the flu about 1-2 days a year for about a week. I take nyquil in the daytime and smoke weed until I fall asleep. The last time I got sick I tried mucinex and that shit made me feel like I was tripping and dying for 2 days. Never again.

I live where winter comes early and stays late. My whole family is sensitive to stale air. We seem to get sinus or respiratory colds 2-3 times per winter. It ends as soon as we can start spending more time outside in the spring.
This year has been different. 4 of 5 in my house have also gotten a really nasty puking-vomiting stomach flu.

I usually have IBS to some degree, but other than that I get a chest infections every now and then throughout the winter months, I think its because I used to live in the super tropics way up north where there wasn't even a winter, then went pretty much as far south as you can go without going over ocean.
I fucking hate the cold sometimes.

I usually get sick 2-3 times a year. It's normally not all that bad, but it definitely kicks my ass for a day or two.
DXM, Opiates, and weed are my friends when I'm sick...And a lot of green & herbal teas.

Yeah, when I'm sick I usually grift some opiates out of my doctor and spend the duration of my sickness in and out of sleep 
Come to think of it, I haven't been sick since my ex left. Not seriously sick anyway. I can explicitly remember this, because when I get sick-sick, I revert into a 4 year old and require constant attention from whatever female is in my house at the time hahaha. I don't handle it well.

So far so good for me this year.
Being anti-social really helps keep peoples germs off me.
If I get sick, it's usually leads to a nasty upper respiratory infection.

There is no not at all option in your poll. 
I used to get about 4-5 really nasty colds per year and sometimes the flu, most of them in the winter, until I switch to a whole food plant-based diet with little to no "crap" and never get sick anymore. Well I got one cold in the last 3 years but it was one that everyone around me was getting for weeks at a time and I was over it in a weekend. 
I also do not worry about germs like society seems to be obsessed with. I hardly wash my hands (only after a shit) even after being out in public, and do not disinfect everything around me. Exposure is the key to resistance.

I agree with that. I spent most of my childhood extremely sick, but it seems I got it all over with when I was young.

Yeah I hardly ever get sick. And yes, exposure is the key. We're already experiencing the effect of our overzealous nature towards vaccine administration, selecting for strains more and more resistant to drugs.

Well certainly vaccines can be valuable; polio, smallpox, ect. But more specifically our extensive use of antibiotics is selectively breeding more drug resistant bacteria.
As far as vaccines, I've never gotten them unless required by my school. Certainly some our beneficial, others are questionable about their necessity. And of course some people want to go conspiracy with their contents. As with most things, it's a ying and yang.

I have a nodule on my lung which might be why I cough a lot but I'm never actually sick. If I do get sick, which is maybe once a year, I'm deathly ill for like three days and then I'm fine.
Allergies are a different fucking story, FUCK POLLEN/ANIMALS/ASSORTED ALLERGENS

Actually, I get tonsillitis at least once a year usually, but I smoke through it like a beast.
