What to line the inside of my growroom with?
    #502270 - 12/01/10 01:07 PM (7 years, 6 months ago)

Hi there growery community.  I have been a long time user and a first time poster.  I recently had a friend who set-up a grow room and we used mostly everything that was on this site to build it.  One thing is we don't know what to use to line or insulate the cabinet with.  I was thinking mylar would be good because it has heat resistance and it's reflective like tinfoil.  Cheap too!  Is there something that is possibly better?

Most people use mylar or black and white polyfilm I think it is also called panda film.

I don't really think insulation is necessary.

I can't really say which is better, I just know both are considered good. Panda film is probably easier to use, mylar is a pain in the ass imo.

I always thought FRP would work well. due to it being about the same price as dry wall, water proof, and available in white
