 Doom 95 collectors edition HELP

Ok, dudes so my guy is having trouble installing Doom for windows on 95 to his new comp with windows 7, i kno its hard to do this and we've tried all settings for setting as administrator, running in 256 color, and running in 640X480 resolution. Error says hes missing DPLAY.DLL file and we tried reinstalling, plz help, thx.

DOSBox, or you could try running the program by right clicking Doom.EXE, choosing properties, then choosing the compatibility mode to win 95/98. It's worth a shot, but DOSBox is your best bet.
