What is m2? I see that designation next to yields.

So when I see 340-500gm/m2, it means that strain might produce between 340-500 gms per sq. meter?

Yeah so like, If you had basically 3.3 feet by 3.3 feet of straight plant, it would likely yield along those lines.
HOWEVER
Yield are affected by everything...lights, FAE, nutes, bugs, temperature, pH, EVERYTHING.
So you're own yield really depends on the exact expressed phenotype of the individual plant strain you're growing AND the amount of knowledge of what you need and what you need to do in actually growing a plant well. Its a lot harder than people, who don't have this knowledge, think.

Thanx. I'm about to set up and I really want to start right, so I'm asking a lot of stupid questions, especially when it comes to acronyms. So, what's FAE? Where can I find the decoder for all these mysterious things?

Fresh Air Exchange. I don't think we've got an acronym guide anywhere here. icmag or one of the other cultivation forums might but it'd probably be faster to just use the search engine here.

This means that the breeder claims 340-500 grams/square meter will be the optimal yield when growing in a sea of green/high plant counts.
