Very nice looking! my first indoor grow is at 38 days now. look about same height and size as yours in pics except mine have lots of thick undergrowth. cant even see through lower part of plant. My question is, do you trim off lower brances and small bushy stuff that is thin and whispy to help generate just bigger colas? Or is it in the genetics of the plant? Ive been gorilla growing for years but have been taking in buttloads of info and knowledge for the last few months on indoor growing and quality medicine! finally up and rolling indoor now!

Genetics play a huge role in how big the buds are going to be. The rest is environmental harmony.
You want to do all your pruning on indoor plants while the plants are in the vegetative stage, letting them fully recover from being pruned (or possibly grown out some more) before inducing flowering. On indoor grows the hours of darkness are controlled so marijuana flowers for only six to nine weeks (sometimes longer depending on strain). That's a very short time. Cutting off branch tips in the flowering stage can easily diffuse floral hormones and retard growth.
