Need your opinions.....

So a buddy of mine just harvested his OUTSIDE crop (a nice haul) but noticed that 3-4 of his plants are wayyy behind in maturing and with November just around the corner, hes scared of frost damaging the immature ones. The hairs are just starting to turn brown......what should he do?
Thanks for the input

i would keep a close eye on the weather. since i dont know where you live, i dont know what the climate is like, you may have another month, you may only have a week. just wait until you hear about that first frost.

For the one that aren't ready, you could just pull a big trashbag over them after the sun goes down, that'll keep the frost off of them, and keep them alive hopefully long enough to finish, or atleast get closer than you are.
Worse comes to worse the frost kills the plant, I don't think its gonna ruin the bud on it though. I had a plant see a frost one time and it didn't affect the bud at all.

What are you talking about? Being in PA you don't even have a 7 month growing season. Most outdoor grows are more like 4-5 months depending on when you plant.

Thats kinda what I was getting at, you don't wanna be giving advice when you aren't sure. We don't want this guy to go givin' up growing just because he thought that without a 6-7 month season he couldn't be successful. I understand that probably wouldn't happen, but you never know, some people read one sentence on a forum and take it as gospel.
