Do they sell big bottles of ph test?? or do u always have to buy the little bottles?? i have only found the little .. i think its a money maker so why sell it in big jugs

Remember guys this stuff goes bad. Keep one of the little bottles and fill that with the bigger one then keep the bigger one in the fridge. You'll see that in some stores the stuff is green and in some of the bottles it gets this kind of orange look to it. When it's orange those are old bottles.

pH down goes bad? Stuff can grow in pH down? I suppose this would depend on the concentration and what your pH down was comprised of. I had a huge bottle of AN pH down that probably took me over a year to use never noticed anything growing in it.

That is interesting, I've only ever seen it orange, course I've only bought it twice, and it was in a white bottle so I couldn't tell before purchase.
While were on the subject, Magash, If you don't mind me asking, have you ever seen Snow Storm go bad, or grow crap inside the soloution?

Some people did, some people threw it out as a precaution. I don't recall anyone saying it stopped working. Generally speaking a fungal cake or whatever it is growing in your nutrients isn't a good thing.

Two things actually. One is white and according to the guys at the hydro show that is normal. The stuff in it is seperating and the bottle needs to be shaken. Now if you have a tan looking stuff growing in it it's old.
They are coming out with a new Purple Maxx (according to the rep at the show). Seems to work they had a bunch of purple carrots, tomatoes, and other plants on display.

I DIDN'T REALIZE PH TEST WOULD GO BAD.. i have had the same couple bottles for 2 or 3 years.. just finished them out.. i am gonna try to go by the hydro store sometime in november.. takes me 2 to 3 hours to get to a store.. who makes thats purple stuff?? soounds interesting.

Ok guys. I know the stuff changes colors (the ph test stuff) when it gets old from green to orange but what I'm not sure of is if it effects the way it works. From what I have seen it doesn't seem to.
