Ph Testing

http://www.sunleaves.com/detail.asp?sku=SPTK500

Test kits similar to this kit by Sunleaves seam ideal for my applications.

I will be scrogging three plants in a stealth Rubbermaid set-up, and I'm only going to do a few grows before i will need to sell or throw out my setup.

My only question, since I'm using a coco medium and i know Ph is CRUCIAL, is whether or not kits like these are truly reliable and accurate.

I think they are reliable, acuuracy isn't wonderful, but good enough to get it where it should be.

The way I see it though, when you can buy a Ph meter for less than $30 shipped these days, why mess around with drops? It's so much easier to stick the probe in the water and have accurate results in an instant.

Would a $30 Ph probe off eBay be accurate?

I guess i could always use calibration fluid BUT even then i just wouldn't trust the meter

Bulk quantities of shitty chinese electronics aren't too appealing to me...

Anyone have success with such a meter? Link?

I bought this one:

Works great, can't beat the price.
