Hey all 
Have recently meandered over from the joys of  growing to finally bite the bullet and setup my own weed grow. Have obviously researched the hell out of the topic, and I've gotten together all the gear for a nifty little nft hydro tent grow.
Only sticking point is the timer/contactor-I'm gonna run a 600w HPS light and I want to make sure I get a solidly decent timer!
I've been considering ones such as this, giving that it looks pukka-I was tempted by ebay, but something about ads like this one just set off warning bells galore! 
Any advice to a noob chaps..?

you can get a good one for $15 at home depot,most of them work pretty good so its nothing real big to worry about!except if it costs like $5 or something!

Like the guy above said, you don't have to buy something like this. What you do is pay attention to how many amps the timer can hold. Most of the high quality ones are 15amps, which would be way more than enough for your 600 watt light. Your local hydrostore would also carry the appropriate timers.
