 moving from outdoor to indoor

Never done this before.
I have 3 females that were started late in the season (mid June),
they're all healthy and beginning to flower.
Could I bring them indoors, put em under a 400w HPS (12/12) without much trouble?

i assume the roots are bound to a container? If so then sure. They might stunt a bit due to the shock but it's a very resilient plant and should recover.

i just did the same thing.
no problems yet. its been 2 weeks since i brought them in.
Also i dont mean to thread jack
but
I was wondering if i could bring my plants back outside on nice days that i will be home.
will the change of light hurt?

I wouldn't, I find the photoperiod isn't as sensitive outdoors for whatever reason, but unless you can provide similar hours of light outdoors as indoors I wouldn't bother. I actually wouldn't bother at all because that would be a lot of work. I'd also use a bunch of neem or whatever sprays you use for bugs before bringing them indoors, I've always heard horror stories of people getting bug infestations when bringing outdoor plants indoors.

ive seen this done a few times... i dont do it myself, but im pretty sure most people do this toward the end of flowering instead of the whole flowering. From what ive seen people just "finish" plants indoors to protect from environmental factors and to get em more sugary.

thats the cali way man.. sure u can veg out and flower in but why would u want to if the weather was nice out..
the sun will produce premium to hid anyday.

That you need to draw and retract everyday? Maybe if it's in your backyard if you have to travel to do so, no thanks.

Growbots are fully automated (timed and w/o need of human assistance to put on the blackout in the evening and take it off in the morning)

every once in a while.. I found grobots cause i was trying to design some kind of automated blackout a couple years back. did some research online. found that.
mine ended being way different

I had to do this last yr. It took around 2 weeks before the plant continued to flower, but I had it under a friends nig rigged home brewed light setup. I'm sure you'll get a great yield...especially with the right gear.

say that the work and photo period didnt matter (it was brought in before the 12 hour mark)
now picture
The plant as a whole is hardy to outdoors because thats where it lived its whole life. you bring it in for a few weeks and let it get use to its new home.It shows some new growth(stretch and beginning of bud).
would this new growth be able to go out into the sunlight or would it fry because it needs to be acclimated?
