you know what i did in english class? I came to class stoned out of my mind every day, i chugged vodka in the back of class, i put dead fish in the ceiling tiles. i put a gallon of old milk and orange juice in the file cabinet before winter vacation. i brought snakes in a tied up sweater and let them loose during class. i didnt go to school to learn, i went because i had to. i didnt care, and i didn't fucking listen to that stupid bitch. and i still don't fucking care. i tore the pages out of her books and burned them, and threw away all the books in the class, two books per day.  :twobooks:

It's a great way to kill a couple of hours and walk away with knowledge.
Instead of killing a couple hours and all you walk away with is that damn catchy "Hide your kids, hide your wife" song.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

I'm pretty sure he's a moderately prolific writer.  But the only book, of his, that I have any personal experience with was "Monkeyluv"; which is just a collection of his older published works.  So the quality was kind of mixed, from one piece to another, and a few seemed rather dated

Really? I would think people like you that represent this forum, i.e. mostly lazy stoner fuck offs; wouldn't care about stuff that is better then the discovery channel. Why don't you just crawl back into counterculture and posting nonsense bs like you used to.

The fact that you attempt to spread intelligent knowledge, even though not all is entirely correct, is so dramatic from the trivial games you play on a daily basis without care for anything remotely knowledgeable. Honest to god you people are too fucking stupid to watch TED.

good one! istoner.  Yeah, these are all done by some really good speakers.  It's really expensive to actually go to these events but you can buy memberships for like 2500$ a year i think.  it'd be fun cause you'd meet some awesome people.  I read an article on the connections between ted conferences and burning man, interesting stuff.
