Do these need a separate ballast?

http://www.1000bulbs.com/category/105-watt-cfl-compact-fluorescents/
Just had a bunch of my 26 watt CFLs give out on me...looking at one of these to cut back on outlets taken up on my powerstrips (thinking 2 of these, and 2 26 watts for my veg room).
Anyways...those are pretty high up there. Obviously I'll need some additional circulation going to keep the temps down...but will these just screw into a normal plug adapter and work?
By which I mean these things:

I use Extension cords with 2 T-splitters attached to the outlets, equaling 4 bulbs , creating an even lighting in my veg. The temps will not be an issue with that size, at least, it shouldn't be. I use a 6" PC fan exhausting the top of 4x2x5 tent, with 6 bulbs running inside the tent and it stays at 79-80.
Good luck.

Looks like a fire hazarded to me. The adapter.
I clone and veg with T12's. Will change to T8's when fixtures wear out. Always thought those you linked too, to be to hot. But thats just me.

I have all my 26 watters plugged into those, then into power strips
Been about 5 grows now...however long the average life of a CFL 24/7 is I guess. I haven't had any trouble with 'em at all.

Good its working for you.
Maybe its just the pic.
Just keep an eye on them. Look for burn marks on plastic(over time). I saw this on cheap timers I 1st started with.
I worry about fire sometime. Sure you will do fine.
