Got a dilemma

I've got a cat that I got when my Aunt died on Christmas Eve (rip auntie). The little fucker is 13 years old, pisses and shits on the floor and went outside and sits around the house meowing it's fucking brains out and did it when it was inside too. It has spots on it where the hair is like a different color or some shit and it runs from us, but wants us to feed it. The little fucker isn't right. Animal Control wants us to come pick up a trap n shit from them. Should I just do this myself, or go to the Animal Control route?

Yeah, I mean the vet will prolly have to check it out n shit to get it done, but I'm almost positive that cat is fucked up. Costs like 125 bucks at the vet, not sure if Animal Control will do it for free or what though. Or, I could do it myself.

You would be surprised what can make a cat go a little nuts. My friends mom had a cat that its hair fell out when she had to go and take care of her sick mother for a month, the minute she came back the cat was fine. The passing of its owner might have brought this on I guess is what I am saying. I put down one of my own pets(I had to shoot it) and it messes with me to this day. I hated putting him down. if you do put him down let the vet do it, you will feel a little better about it. Did you guys bring things from your Aunts house to help with the transition? Cats are some temperamental animals. I have 4 so I do like cats. Wish you the best of luck. You have any older people who might be willing to try and take care of it?

so you could kill the cat and not feel bad? i would probably feel horrible for the rest of my life
unless something was really suffering there is no way i could kill anything more than a spider

is the cat fixed? if not that may be the problem. IE if its a female she is pissing and shitting to attract males as well as the constant meowing. i had a cat that came of age and when i walked outside 1 day she was getting gang raped. it was just twisted there where almost 10+ males on my porch and they had all sprayed around and it smelled nasty. was great paintball practice tho cos those fuckers move fast

yea same here unless it is in a horrible condition just stop feeding it and it will stop coming around. this place i just moved to had a stray coming around and it stopped after i kept chasing it with my air soft gun(i also think my cat kept fucking it up too). cats hate them kids love to get shot by them lol.

cats go fucking crazy when they go into hat and for many other occasions.
do not kill it unless you know you need to kill it.
then if you have to kill it, either go to a vet and get it put down or do it yourself the right way.
make sure the cat is high as fuck on ketamine and then kill it in a quick, pain free, even loving way.

cats fixed, no kittens.
they say get a trap from animal control, still don't know what we're gonna do really.
if i do it myself, it'll be one quick shot to the head (not a .22). i'm not going to make it suffer or anything if i have to do it. don't really want to, but if it's gonna be done, i don't really see a difference as long as there's no pain for the cat. i personally don't think the cat is healthy mentally or physically to be honest. it looks like a paranoid schizo to me, but what do i know, i'm no cat psychiatrist.
