There have been reports that the xbox kinect kit (3 cameras {two read in IR} and 2 mics) will be about 150 bucks.
I can't wait

What is kinect exactly? Just like the ps eye attatchment, It kinda seems like another attempt to grab more money, but the new xbox looks damn fine

Did they upgrade the new Xbox at all (like it's their response to the PS3) or did they just give it a new paintjob?

New design, built in wifi bigger HD ( 250gb which is kinda unnecessary )
theres probably more im forgetting..
but just those features alone almost reel me in

You can fill up 250gb pretty fast if you install your games.
And the way it is way better than the eye-toy.
Although I pretty much just want it for the fitness games, because it would keep me motivated if it was a game that I used for my exercises.

I've only ever had one red-ring. And I've had an Xbox since they came out.

I'd agree with that.
Granted I will say my town has A LOT of humidity.
Keeping it off the floor is a good idea though, they tend to get less dust if they are on a table, even if its only 6''-1' tall.
Another issue is some people don't check to see what red ring it is, because there a several different red light issues.
Sometimes it starts right back up and is fine.

4 red lights of death will show if your xbox starts up without an Audio/Video Cable in it, I know that much
