 Last day on Methadone

Well Ive been on methadone for 2 years now and it is one of the biggest regrets of my life. Shit is evil, Anyway I took my last dose yesterday at 7am its almost 9am now. I have an appointment to switch over to suboxone tomm at noon. I have to be in withdrawl from methadone otherwise I will be thrown into precipitated withdrawls which is total hell. so I have to make it until noon tomm. I dont think today will be too hard, but ive read all sorts of conflicting reports. Anybody ever transitioned from methadone to suboxone? I only plan to be on suboxone for a 6 week period to fully get the methadone out of my system, then drop off everything all together and be sober for the first time in over 5 years. Just did a 5 mile ride on my Exercise bike and It made me feel pretty good, its all about getting those endorphins going again...and I'm rambling...Inverted needs to wake the fuck up and take me to get weed. I would drive myself but....
Inverted was riding shotgun too, I'm thanking my lucky stars the tree dident hit his door. FUCK!!!

Good luck man. That is going to be a rough journey. The suboxone should help though, I have always thought subs were more effective than methadone.
I could go for some methadone right about now

Ya too bad I could too. I always collected the drops that were left in my take home bottles...well I have like 100mg saved up sitting in front of me. I gota flush this shit while I still got the power.

I figure if I can get on sub I should have no problem getting sober. My entire problem with beating my addiction was I couldent get past the heroin withdrawl. I did a few times but then I started shooting and the withdrawls got to a point where I would always relapse before I was done with withdrawl. so I can feel the pain and anxiety creeping up on me. I should have some weed if inverted will wake up, and I got 2, 1mg k-pins I can take too. Come on, 26 more hours....

My cousin went to a program for her abuse of OC and then she was on methadone for like 6 months and now she's been on suboxone, kpins, and some mood stabilizer for about 3 months..?
I think she's hooked on the subs now but if she kicks then I know that she'll prolly need the kpins for a long time, she has really bad anxiety.

suboxone doesnt really have any withdrawals IME
she should get off the k-pin and take something non-addictive like hydroxyzine. it doesnt fuck you up but its effective at helping people sleep and killing off anxiety

Yeah dude. Exercise is really key to staying happy. Makes you feel good about yourself, makes your body feel awesome and it motivates you to be healthier in every way you can.

I had no anxiety problems before abusing opiates, I bet if she gets clean and her endorphin levels return to normal her anxiety will subside.
