It works the way it is. I've got a couple of them myself
They're made in China but a friend at the local headshop gave them to me for free and they're a novelty so I can't complain.

Not so long as you aren't a complete idiot. I wore a clean one for a few months just as a necklace. It was pretty fun when the few people recognized it for what it was. Other than that, they're great for festivals.

I'm not good enough at rolling joints that I can roll a huge joint that is not a pain in the ass to smoke b/c it wants to burn funny. Its all about the .5-1.5 regular paper size paper joints or the 100mm.
And yeah in CA there are many places where a pipe necklace would not cause any trouble.

I actually did wear it when I got it. It's pretty small so yypu only notice of you know what a pipe looks like.(which non toners don't usually recognize) and I mean it's not parophanilia unless it's got resin on it or you have bud. I'm taking it to the next concert I go too.
And my joint isn't that small, I mean it's as long a ciggarettes and it's overall got more girlth. It's tightly rolled and hits fucking good.
