Yeah, it's fixed now. But he was only showing 4 leaves under his name even tho he had all 5's in his ratings.

The system may be a little buggy right now since we are implementing some major hardware changes and certain features have been disabled or messed around with in the meanwhile... However:
This will happen from time to time as we use normalized averaging for our ratings system; whereby members who consistently give out all 5's, will have their 5's normalized to be worth LESS than a full 5 rating. Consequently, because they may not give out any 0's or 1's, if and when they do, those low ratings will be much more powerful and can often carry a negative value when being calculated into a member's final rating score.
Inversely, a member who gives out almost all low ratings, will have their low ratings normalized to a higher rating (for example: a 0 rating being factored in as a 1 or 2)... and if they should give out a very rare 5 rating, it will be weighted to carry a value greater than 5 when being calculated into a member's final rating score.
In other words, the farther away a rating that you give out is from your average/common rating, the more powerful it will be. This normalization is designed to help create a clearer picture of a member's aggregate rating... since a 5 from someone who gives out nothing but 5's is probably not going to be saying too much. But when a 0 comes from someone who gives out almost all 5's, it probably says quite a bit.
For example, on the Growery:

Rating of 0 = -0.107
Rating of 1 = 0.9115
Rating of 2 = 1.9299

Rating of 4 = 3.9669
Rating of 5 = 4.9853
And on the Shroomery, where I've left a LOT more 5 ratings:

Not currently... kind eats up some system resources on the calculation/database queries (I think). Don't want to have that sort of thing available for public use as it can be exploited to harm the site (denial of service style).

I have one bad rating. Which is weird because the guy left a positive comment but no leaves. Now I have four leafs again even tho i have 14 5 leave ratings.
