Well you got me there that isn't bad. But why should I use soil? Whats the big difference from the coco,vermiculite,perlite,oyster powder mix that I am using now? I need ferts for both. Both Need to be pH'ed. So tell meh!

So i got a ph tester from petsmart. And look  
The blue is obviously 7.6 or maybe a little higher that's tap water which I have been using. And the green is a 6.6 Ph maybe 6.5 from looking at the chart. So what should I do flush with the distilled water that's ph'ed at 6.6?

Also I just looked at the bottom Of my keg cup and I have roots coming out. Is this normal for 6 days?

I'm willing to bet that blue color is 8+. I use that pH test kit as one of mine. Yes flush with distilled water. I would adjust the water to 6 or a little lower at least, but you might wait for a second opinion on that advise.

Also, the difference between soil and what your growing in, is soil has nutrients in it and what your growing in does not have much if any.
I know that coco coir has some nutrients in it but what and how much, I don't know.
It's not a hempy grow, but its damn close.
What is your soilless recipe percent wise?
Did you use worm castings for your mushies. That would help if you include that in your next recipe.
Does anyone know in a medium such as his when he should start applying ferts?
