 Changing time of 12/12?

If I wanted to switch my 12/12, which at the moment is from 3am to 3pm, to the middle of the day, what's the best way to go about it? Should I let them do their 12, then let them go into dark, till I want to have them on and just keep it going at that time period from there on?

how far into flowering are you?
i would extend the dark period
so ur 3am to 3pm now
let ur lights go off @ 3pm then dont turn them on until you want to start the new 12/12
like 7am
4 hrs extra dark is better for them then 4 hours extra light

psh, a week into flowering dude your fine you could just change the timer and pretty much be fine. But it is always better to be safe than sorry, so ya let them go off then turn them on at the start of the new 12/12 period.
