that sucks man  I have a 20 year old cousin who left the country after killing someone when he was attacked during a drug deal or something like that, doubt he can ever come back to the US

Yeah I don't really know the whole story. It happened about 4 days ago apparently. I haven't hung out with the dude in probably 2 or 3 years, kind of a good thing though, we used to wyle out. Can't believe it man. Still getting info, will probably know more in the next couple days.
I woulda carried my ass too if I was your cousin.

From what I can gather, I think they were friends actually. I'm not sure how the whole thing went down. Shit's crazy man. We used to skip school and do dr00gz n shit. I know soon as that shit happened, he was like "Oh fuck, what did I just do?" Know what I mean? I can like see the look on his face. Man, life is fuckin crazy.

Yo, apparently if you kill someone and the case is never solved but your a suspect, after 15 years they seal the files and your home free.

Fight leaves one dead, another in jail

A Kill Devil Hills man faces second-degree murder charges after he allegedly stabbed and killed another town resident during an early morning street fight, June 7.
Brandon Presgraves, 24, was found dead by Sgt. B. C. Henderson after he responded to a 911 call at 1:25 a.m. Monday near the Port O' Call Restaurant and Gaslight Saloon, according to Capt. Gene Johnson of the Kill Devil Hills Police Department.
Shortly thereafter, James Eric Presson, 24, turned himself into police.
Johnson said the two men had left the Port O' Call and were walking north on South Virginia Dare Trail or the beach road. They were in between the restaurant and the Trading Post near Oregon Avenue when the fight erupted.
Johnson said the two men knew each other and that the conflict may have started at the Port O' Call, which also operates as a nightclub.
Johnson would not comment on the type of "cutting instrument" that was used although a knife was recovered at the scene, he said. Nor would he reveal the location of the wounds to Presgraves.
"The injuries are consistent with stab wounds," Johnson said.
He did, however, comment on the matter in general.
"It is a tragedy, it really is," he said.
Johnson would not say whether alcohol was a factor.
"We'll have to wait for the toxicology report," he said.
Presson, who goes by Eric, Johnson said, called the police soon after the altercation.
"He called and advised us he would come in to the police department and meet the officers," Johnson said.
Presson was subsequently placed in custody.
"He's cooperating," Johnson said. "He's been charged with second degree murder."
Presson was transported to the Dare County Detention Center where, on Monday afternoon, he was being held on a $200,000 secured bond.
The Kill Devil Hills Police Department asks that anyone who was at the Port O' Call late Sunday night or early Monday morning to call them with information at 252-449-5337.
They should ask for detective Kevin Moye, who is the lead investigator in the case, Johnson said.
