So ive had my seedlings under 2 single CFL's as a temporary measure until i was able to get some better lighting because im pretty broke right now and the ONLY place i can find flourescent tubes and ficture for them around here it would cost $40 just to get a fixture that holds 2 2 foot tubes.
then i go today to buy them and the stupid thing doesnt even have a cord, they want me to spend another $10 on a freaking cord for it..
So ya sadly i have to toss my plants due to not wanting to spend $50 on 2 light bulbs

If you can't spend 50 bucks on supplies you should prolly just throw some seeds outside and pray for the best.
Or you could plant your current plants outside and hope for the best.

its not that i dont want to spend $50 on supplys, its that i dont want to spend $50 on 2 light bulbs that should definately not cost that much....
im just gana go buy weed instead i guess.
also i might try an outdoor thing.. whens a good size to put them outside?

dear god, where the fuck are you shopping? I built a 2 bulb T5 setup for under 50 bucks. In fact I posted a thread about it in cult: http://www.growery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/303175#303175
So for 35 bucks at home depot you get the ballast and bulbs, and another 5 bucks on some small parts (unless you have them already), and you'll have enough light to keep a few plants happy in veg.

Why not stick them outdoors? If you can't grow them indoors anymore...don't just kill them. They might just die outside, but for the extra effort of digging a party-cup sized hole, you might have them survive 
Also, back when I wasn't aware of awesome websites like this, I had it in my head I could just grow it on my windowsill. It IS a plant after all...it was horrible and stretchy, and I never got to flower it...but it DID work. Just let them get a little bigger inside and put them outside bro.

I eye the CFLs are my local grocery store every time I shop there, $6.99 for 4 23W bulbs... There is a hardware store just around the corner, light sockets are a mere couple dollars each.

In fact, my local Home Depot GAVE me six sockets when they didn't ring in correctly at the register. The basic, plain, general wiring sockets are CHEAP. Buy some 6500k CFL's for veg and you'll be fine.
If you've already thrown the plants out then start some new seed. Seriously, don't let the equipment snobs fool ya. You can grow some decent bud under CFL's. The best? No. Smokable? Fuck yeah!
These were veged for 2.5 months under a single 23w 2700k compact fluorescent light. Then I spent $6 or $7 on a pack of 4 more bulbs when I started flowering. Then another month into it I bought another pack of bulbs and handful of wiring sockets. I'm now up to 250 real watts for flowering. It doesn't have to cost a lot of money.
