Not sure if they're what I'm looking for though.
The species I'm looking for is Psilocybe subaeruginosa and I'm pretty sure I got it right but I figured I should check just to make sure.

ey mate!
for subs you should be looking for a:
1.brown wavy cap
2.creamy coloured gills
3.white stem (no slight orange or any varient)
4.bruises blue
5. spore print comes out purple-brown, purple-black

These fit all the descriptions apart from bruising blue, when I squeeze the stems they turn a light tan colour, I thought this was just the first reaction of the plant compressing or something but they just aren't turning blue

1. If you're not sure, don't ingest them.
2. You haven't given us enough info to help you, so it isn't fair to ask us for confirmation.
3. If they aren't bruising blue that's a bad sign since every wild psychedelic mushroom I've ever pulled shows blue bruising.

Have you posted a thread in the identification forums on the shroomery? Check the sticky and fill out the identification form, put it at the beginning of your post. Someone over there will be able to tell you exactly what you've got.

Agreed, those guys are good at identifying mushies.
But like others say, I dont think they are active. Maybe edible but not active. While brusing blue is a sign of activeness its not a complete indicator. Just because they dont bruise blue doesnt mean they arent active. But I wouldnt eat them until you know for sure what they are, because mushrooms can make you very very ill. And you wouldnt want to die from being stupid and eating weird mushrooms.

Sorry for the late replies, Internet went shit. I ended up throwing those shrooms out because it became very obvious the next morning that they weren't what I was looking for lol.
Yea I think I might make a sheoomery account soon
