Wow, that is quite sickening. I really wish I had the kind of money to move out of this country to a more neutral one. I don't entirely feel safe here, no one should. Our "freedom" and "rights" are nothing more than an illusion.

Bottom line is our government can do whatever the fuck they want, they can get caught doing illegal shit and nothing comes of it. It's not even so much the illegality that bothers me but the inhumane sinister acts they carry out on a regular basis against their own people. I don't see how there's just going to be some uprising that's going to fix all this anytime soon.. or probably ever.

Yep.

The government is the largest organized-crime gang in the world.  I know for 100% fact that the Government imports massive quantities of Dope.  Cocaine for sure, but it makes perfect sense that they are dealing with H now though, there has been a massive spike in use nationwide in the last 5 years...

Let's not forget about all the OC/percs/roxys that has seen epidemic status usage in the past 8-10 years. I've been saying this to people around here for a long time, especially when friends of mine came back from serving in Iraq in the Marines/Army/Airforce heavily addicted to opiates like OC. It's government heroin. They took the same thing, repackaged it under a new name and made it slightly less powerful and also more costly on the streets. Rich kids with daddys money to blow are more prone to paying more money for oxys because it doesn't have the same stigma attached to it as heroin. I doubt any of this is a coincidence I think they know EXACTLY what they're doing.

No doubt about it. I would say that America is arguably the worst of any country in that regard, and this has something that has been increasing dramatically in the past 10 years or so. Probably prior to 10-15 years ago we wernen't the country with the worst prescription drug problem but IMO today we are.

I remember being in 8th grade and seeing OCs emerge as probably the drug of choice for people besides weed and people I knew trying them as young as 13. I knew people who had serious habits by 14-15. This shit was literally EVERYWHERE when the years before that it was considerably less common. I really don't think it was a coincidence that this shit just suddenly flooded the streets. You got to consider that every oxy sold on the street was legitimately prescribed somewhere to someone meaning no matter what happens to it after it reaches the black market uncle sam has already gotten his cut.

Is it really such a mystery why the federal government refuses to recognize marijuana as having any medical value while medical marijuana is blatantly helping the lives of the sick and dying and providing ailment for things traditional medications wern't able to give so many people? If this became common place guess what, a lot less people are going to be getting their oxy prescriptions for pain, xanax prescriptions for anxiety, ambien prescriptions for sleeping, and uncle sam is gonna still want his piece of the pie. With the threat of people being able to grow their own medicine of course the government is going to be terrified and do whatever they can to try and stop this movement.

Its sad and pathetic to watch people I know go down with addiction. I'm sure they have their reasons for what they do, but at some point rationalizing with yourself and everyone around you isn't going to help.

The government wants doctors to prescribe this stuff. I know of people who doctor shop all over the state at pain specialist and are turning a 5k+ a month profit off this shit. It is by far more of a problem than the illegal drug trade by a long shot.

Drug prohibition fuels all of this, schools teach about the dangers of illegal drugs, and then in turn support the idea that if you have a problem, just pop a pill for it and nothing bad will come of it.
