why on earth would you want Xp? Windows 7 outperforms xp on similarly configured machines, i'm running windows 7 on my laptop that I got off btjunnkie.org and it works beautifully.

Im running Windows 7 as of yesterday and like it a lot
I am trying to get a copy of Windows XP to dual boot on my new PC im building. A lot of the old games I play and a lot of old software isnt compatible with Windows 7.
I will still use Windows 7 on my PC for majority of what I do.

oh right on then, i though you maybe though your machine couldn't run windows 7 cuz it was too old or something. Honestly i'm sure most the popular ones on btjunkie.org are legit

Ive been reading the reviews and it seems a fair number of people have issues with all of them. If I am spending around a grand total on this machine, I might as well fork up 60$ for my own copy of windows.

yeah but the bootleg software is the same as the store bought. xp is easily crackable... shit so is 7
