Haha, not as expensive as that maybe. I would never pay that much, but I had a local glass blower make me and my bro some fatass thick custom beaker bongs a few years back. Easily worth $300 a piece, but paid about $125 each I think. I don't even remember how mine broke 
Too stoned I guess.

Yeah I just got a 9mm thick beaker back at home for $200 plus another $30 for a slide because it came with a crappy slide. I can't imagine how you would break it unless it fell straight onto a concrete/rock/tile something. I wish I knew some glass blowers who could do bongs that would be sick.

It lasted quite awhile, but I think the bottom eventually cracked out from the way I handle shit. Now I just buy glass pipes, a lot cheaper to lose/throw away/break.
It takes most blowers A LOT of work and time to make a bong, unless they get a glass lathe like my guy did, which is a pretty expensive piece of machinery for most small time blowers.

Dude, everybody that smokes weed will take a bong hit from time to time. They may not own one or have it as their primary inhalation source, but they'll take a binger from time to time. Although, I have smoked with an old head who only smokes joints and bowls, but I'm sure I could get him to hit a bong, no doubt.

I know many people who dont like hitting bongs. About 90% of the weed I smoke is through bongs.
