Give me a fucking break, show me where I said gladiators were MMA fighters. I said they were Martial Artists, as in, "people who know how to fight." NOWHERE did I say anything about them being MMA (which stands for mixed martial arts). there is a MAJOR difference, and of course I fucking know it's a new sport. Don't talk down to me, I've forgotten more in the past year than you've learned in your entire lifetime

Also for the record Homo, I bet you any Krav Maga expert would kill any of your ground cuddling jujitsu fags. Sure there's a lot of technique in MMA, but the problem is the fighting styles are inapplicable in the real world. MMA fighters would not have a fucking clue what to do in a real fight where there are no rules.

Here's something to think about; the ONLY gladiators on the battlefield were the ones with a perfect record. if you lost ONCE, you were dead.
Now in the case of Anderson Silva, he lost his debut match to Luiz Azeredo. So there you have it, if Silva was alive 2000 years ago he would have died during his professional debut and wouldn't have even had the opportunity for a second fight.
