If someone were to set up aeropnics on the floor and ceiling with lights through the middle of the room, would there be any extra considerations you would have to make?
-The plants hanging upside down would not be directly over the bulbs. They would be surrounded. Could use this to grow some taller sativa strains in the lower grow. (I like a selection)
-The containers would not leak idealy.

an aeroponic system on the ceiling with no leakage would be VERY difficult to make. this idea would work if you had a surefire method to contain all the water from the top system however

I know i saw a wicked vertical SoG on youtube, it wasn't upside down but he was still using all the space available.
putting it upside down seems like more work then needed.

I know about vertical growing. It just sounded to me like he wanted to grow with the plants hanging from the ceiling. Maybe I misinterpreted it.

Well he did state upside down, and hanging and leakage. Sure sounds like he wants to grow from the ceiling down toward the light, with plants on the ground. Using no reflectors to use as little light per # of plants possible.
He was just making a reference to something "close" to what he described.

yeah just tossin in my .02 about the trouble of upside down growing and giving him a different idea to achieve almost the same goal. plus how cool would it be to have a room with all four walls big 'ol SoG's
