I've always noticed this on tv or youtube videos if someone is speaking without an accent. seems like i pay more attention to what they're saying.

Also I thought it was cool that Iowa is 99% literate. We have the highest literacy rate in the U.S.

yeah. thats also the only thing iowa has going for it.
very close to idaho and the dakotas for worst state period.

Same things there is to do in any state. We have a sweet music fest in the summer that I always go to. We have the loess hills they are pretty cool cuz they are completely black. Saylorville lake is sweet. Same with banner mine. Its just like any other state. And also I think feilds of corn and crops are beautiful. the mississippi river is on one side of our state which is pretty cool to see. Enlighten me of what your state has that mine doesnt.

everyone Ive talked to from or living in Iowa say its a boring shithole, there is not much goin on there, from what I've heard. Also, Trip, how many places have you traveled to? You are missing out on a lot more than you even know I think by living in corncountry, but, if you really love it then maybe its the place for you ...... but if i was living up there it would be

i know a guy who still lives in sioux city and about 4 or 5 people that have moved here from iowa, considering they MOVED AWAY they probably had problems with the place and are biased, but they must have moved for a reason.....
