Buy some Hemostats
I usually use them for taking out fish hooks but they work great for that, otherwise you can roll a crutch (like I do) into mouth end and never worry about burning your lips, plus you can pretty much smoke it until there is no more. You know once you feel the heat and start to smell/taste paper.

i usually do crutches, but i like those hemostats
