There are a number of things you can do. Get a q-tip wet on both sides and put it in a medicine jar with your stash, that'll poof the shit out of it. i had a buddy how would steam it to 'refresh' it a bit.

trying setting it in an air tight container with some lettuce....and i'm also gonna try lightly steaming it! like not boiling water...just hot tap water and all that and let it set for a little while

what difference does it make?
tater peels in a big bag (1/4-1/2 pounds or whatever) will help keep it moist and and add a little water weight too.
