 How would you handle this situation?

K so I was almost out of weed and needed to pick up some because my plants wont be ready till october. I just grabbed a half for 150$ and was gonna sell 3 and keep one 1/8 for free. I got it from my good friend who I've bought from many times before and it is fire weed. Well I checked it out briefly and it was big crystaly dry buds and I bought it and smoked with him and then went home and went to bed.
Well I woke up this morning and went to burn and to my fucking frustration every single bud which looks perfect on the outside has powder gray mold that puffs up like smoke when you pull off the buds. It would be pretty impossible to notice this mold without cutting into a bud but my friend grows the shit so I'm not convinced that he didnt know and gave it to me and hoped I wouldnt notice. I can't sell this weed to other people it would weigh to hard on my conscience that I might be fucking somebodys lungs up.

Shit dude, bring it back to him and show him... A grower would never miss any detail like that. He knew. If you are desperate you can make it all into butter, that way it's not wasted...

Yeah I was about to say the same thing. I've never heard of that, sounds like a lot of dust accumulated in their or something, I just don't know.

It's blue mold I would assume? I've seen this before. He means it poof's in his face when he breaks open a bud, dispersing the mold into the air.

Its actualy grayish white. I'm pretty sure its whats known as downey mildew because that stuff grows from the inside out when buds get to dense and and the grow room is to humid(at least I think thats the reason). If it happened during the drying process I think it would be all over the outside to thats why I think its downey mildew. I think I'm gonna lose a friend over this because I called him about it and he seemed pretty short with me on the phone and thats not acceptable. Im not in the wrong I hate when people get defensive when they are called out on something. He said "I'll call you back" after we talked about it and I'm sure he won't or he will and just pretend he didnt know and keep denying.

That's pretty bad of him to let something like that slide and sell to others. Either he didn't know or he wasn't prepared to receive the call-outs and is being a skeez

Yea Im realy hoping he didnt know but even still it won't change the fact that I'm stuck with this weed. Since he did it to me it makes me just wanna do it to someone else but I'd feel to bad about. I'm a real guilty person and if I do something shitty to someone not even joking everytime I get high is thought loops of me feelign guilty about fucking someone over it realy sucks.

Yea I probably will do that or make bubblehash. I was watching a bubbleman video and they were making hash and he said that he was using buds from a moldy harvest.

I dont have a camera but I bet it wouldnt even be visible enough. Its all on the inside you have to break apart a bud and hold it up to a light and you can see what looks like smoke puffing out. There is a light white/grayish tint on the inside part but someone who didnt realy look hard like I did wouldnt even notice it. Only reason I inspect all my weed in front of a light is because this has happened to me one other time with a different guy and the weed was dry that time too and it was all on the inside, I think I made a thread about it.

i've had moldy dank twice and moldy regs twice.
usually just smoke it.

Yea I realy doubt it would hurt me but im a hypochondriac about stuff like that,if i smoked it and caught a cold or something a week later I'd think I was dying

Just like shaking a fully contaminated jar of rye seed then opening it. I wouldn't dare fuck with mold. I would talk to the guy about it. If he's a 'friend' then it should work out. In all my years of smoking herb i have never encountered a situation like that one.

Yea its so rare and yet its the second time in all my 13 years of smoking weed that I've gotten it and within the last 6-7 months too its ridiculous.

Well unbelievably someone bought it all from me despite my warning them of the mold. Its been real dry for weed around my area lately so thats partly the reason he bought it id imagine but he even said to me when I showed it to him that "I can't see anything looks like dust to me" so it all worked out suprisingly.

Yeah I would never buy from your friend again. I mean especially if he was being a douche about it. I mean if you are gonna grow and sell your weed you have to back your product up 100% in my opinion.

Yea I'm definitely not gonna buy from him ever again or talk to him again for a long time just so he gets the message. The one thing that makes all this better is he used to go in on pods with me because he was scared to order them to his house so now I'm just gonna say nah sorry man order them yourself. He doesnt know any sources for them either since I always got them and now since they are banned from ebay they are a little harder to find for any decent price if you don't already know a source
