After watching a ghost story and being freaked the shit out I went to bed (I watched the ghost story in my dad's room) and the t.v randomly turned on, then went to the show.

Not that weird

I've had tons of stuff happen over the years but I usually just shrug it off. I refuse to believe ghosts or anything of the sort can cause any physical danger so I try not to get frightened or anything. Hmm first thing to pop into my mind..

I woke up in the middle of the night at like 4am about a year ago and there was some text frozen on my television screen like some subtitles except I had never even once turned that function on and didn't even have a remote to do it with. It read something like "Don't turn around." and stayed there permanently not changing with the lines people were speaking. Yeah not so freakish I know but I always thought it was funny.

Jesus appeared to my brother when we were much younger and just stood there smiling and exuding this overwhelming sense of calm and happiness. His faith has been unshakable ever since. Btw Jesus apparently looks a lot different..

Holy shit. If I saw that I would freak out. I don't really believe in ghosts and stuff, but I still have that little bit in me that gets nervous when I think about them a lot.

I worked at an inn as a buss boy and server while in college. The inn was first built as a mansion in the1800's (winslow homer owned and lived in the mansion for 25 yrs) and was purchased and converted into an inn in the late 1800's.  There have been a few suicides and some shady shit in it's history.  During prohibition the inn became one of Maine's first "yuppy" speak easys. I can attest to that, there was a known passage way through the inn. I personally have stuck my head in this trap door.....which was carefully disguised in the hardwood flooring in  the corner of the library room. There were also paintings with hinges on them and shelving mounted in the walls behind the paintings to store alcohol during functions. After that quick overview I have a story to share.

A maid at the inn was due to marry this fisherman. The inn had this circular shaped room with windows all around it at the top of the inn.  This was where she would go to see if she could see her future husbands boat coming into the bay.  He left on a fishing boat and was never to return. The poor maid couldn't take it after she realized he was gone. She hung herself in this circular room at the top of the inn...still awaiting the arrival of her lover. She wore her wedding gown when she hung herself. The room she hung herself in is now known as Widows Peak.

There is a  lady in a white wedding gown that is known to pace the inn in search for her lost fiance. My personal experience was in the ball room. (Where she was to be married) I was setting tables for a wedding and out of the corner of my eye I clearly saw a lady in a white ...peering out the picture window looking out at the ocean. When I looked over she was gone. The fucked up thing is......I didn't hear this story until after sharing my experience with another co worker. I later found out that there is a lot of paranormal activity around weddings...the ghost gets pissed and will show herself and often fuck with the temps in the room.

Believe it or not but it's the honest to god truth. No fiction here.
