I use a mac cause I have built hundreds of PCs and personally im sick of shit not working
I still run XP on my mac and guess what, it runs just fine thanks to bootcamp

not neccecarily "problems"
but I can just get shit done on the mac faster
like you dont have to install drivers for anything, dont have to configure anything, it just works
and it is good if your a unix junkie (I used to have a mac just for that)

I know its not considered "top of the line" but I bought my macbook a year ago and it has an nvidia 9600m which is enough to play BF2, BF2142 and CSS on high settings
it cant play COD4 though

I dont know if you guys remember but that card was the SHIT
cost like $500 for the desktop version

never bought my own computer so never had much choice...
lately i've seen more macs around but haven't been overly impressed with them. maybe it's because i have no idea how they actually function i dunno...
right now i'm using some old old laptop with windows XP
it's a piece of shit but i have no idea what i'd do without it!
it serves it's purpose more or less (less then more actually)
if i had the money... hummm, now that's a question...

PC, Cost factor and Im more familiar with Windows OS. I feel more comfortable troubleshooting any problems I might have with a PC. Not so much a Mac

Can't help ya out on cost.
But you can run windows on a Mac. 
Troubleshooting....man you just don't, or it's so simple it's hard. It's call rebooting.
lol...it's been a few years now, and not once was there a need to "Troubleshoot" like a PC.
And I demand much out of my Mac, it's not just for the internet, I actually do things with it that I really can't do on a PC.
Video editing, in HD at 24fps at the highest quality only a Mac can give you with Final Cut Pro. Not only can I run that program, but several other high performance software all at once.
My 8core rocks!
I know for a fact I can not do, what I need to on any out of the box PC!
If you like headaches use a PC. If you use a PC and you have no headaches then you are really not useing your PC.
Get a Mac it just works.

yeah usually its from limewire or something but there are those that you can get from just browsing the web and never downloading a thing, I like my mac where nothing can run till I say it can
