When you guys are done watching, answer this question, cuz i was wondering about it last night.
If they were such a smart and advanced race, why did their ship randomly stop in the USA in the first place? Why were they all weak and malnorished? I didn't understand that. Or why they went to earth, then didn't come out of their ship and just stayed there.

Well for one they didn't stop in the USA they stopped in South Africa. And when they stopped over South Africa the thing that controlled all the doors and everything dropped off the ship. No one could find it. Hence they couldn't get out and eat anything. That's why they were Mal nourished. Although I dont know why they didnt have a bunch of food onboard.
