 Dogs and veggies

Do any of your dogs/cats/pets enjoy eating veggies? Our dog absolutely loves them, cucumbers, carrots, broccoli, whatever it is she'll chow down on it. Same thing with fruit, she begs just as much for the healthy stuff as much as she does for the junk food. I think it's awesome she loves eating veggies so much, but it seems a little odd to me as any dog I've owned usually ignores any type of vegetables. We'll usually start by feeding her a little bit of said fruit/veggie to see if she's interested (which to date I haven't seen her turn down anything) then just go ahead and give her big chunks if she likes it.

Mine eat anything...Funniest thing I was standing outside earlier with the pipe taking my dog out and he just stands there until I blow 2-3 hits in his ear and then he walks away satisfied.

My pup is all about the junk food. He will eat carrots here and there but that's it. If I give him a bite of my salad he will lick the dressing off and spit the lettuce out...and then stare me down like I'm an asshole. It's pretty funny actually.

lol. Java loves spinach and romaine lettuce. I figured it was probably pretty common, but she's the first dog I've actually seen beg for veggies. How can you say no when your pet is begging for healthy food

you really can't say no. when mine beg for junk food it's easy enough to say no, even though they are cute as hell when they do it, but when they are begging for something healthy like apples or grapes or carrots or some of my salad, i usually end up indulging then.

she's pretty much the only one out of the three of them i can't resist. the other two (their mother Bailey the fluffy one, and her brother Bruiser) are both way too eager when begging and get all up in your space. Tinzer on the other hand has mastered the are of begging from afar with those sad sad eyes of hers. she's not pushy and just waits patiently, as if saying "feed me, i'm so sad and hungry i can't move" ... and i fall for it almost every time.

hahahaha!
they definitely have their moments where you just wanna strangle the fuck out of them. especially when you have a dog who thinks he's the centre of the fucking universe and wants to be involved in all conversations and activities that you do (he actually does talk, in dog speak mostly) but i swear to god it's annoying as fuck. i mean, it's cute when he says "i'm hungry", "i love you", "outside go potty" but when he's interrupting a conversation you're trying to have with a friend, or scratching at the door to be let out, or jumping on you like crazy because his fat ass wants dinner. *sigh* they're a handful, and Bruiser especially is needy as fuck.

the funny thing is, her and the one with the brown are brother and sister, and their mom is the fluffy one. the dad was a black lab that looks almost identical to Tinzer (the black one), so i don't know where Bruiser got his colouring from, but i do know that the lab was the only dog that their mother let hump her so the colouring has gotta come from Bailey (mommy) somehow.

i had a pit/dingo mix, but we had to put him down a couple years ago due to cancer. it was sad, i miss him a lot even still after such a long period of time.
