I love the idea of growing lophophora...it makes you appreciate what you have when you've had to respect and care for something for so long.

I wouldn't wait 3-5 years for a 18 hr trip, I understand how spiritually revealing and guiding it can be, But I don't enjoy tripping enough to do it, I only enjoy psilocybin every now and then... so I think Im happy with my decision  but yea if mescaline is your drug wait another year and get like 3 doses instead of 1

Ive developed such an attachment to these cacti that I dont know if I could harvest them anyways. There are plenty of Pedro over Arizona. If I wanted to trip on Mescal I could just go collect 30-40lbs worth of the stuff
Im just hoping for another healthy year of growing and im hoping the big lady flowers this year. Going to add another 1-2 cuttings to the collection this year as well

Yah, cacti are pretty innocuous looking. Dollars to donuts people wouldn't know a peyote from an agave if you slapped them in the face with it.

when I was younger I thought peyote was another name for weed. And I still dont know what a cacti button looks like for sure, or how to properly harvest them or anything,
if someone saw you growing edible shrooms in your house however, they would automatically assume they are magic, cuz who really likes mushroooms?
