 Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros

I've been obsessed with this band for the past several months and seeing them live last Wednesday was a fucking transcendental experience if I were ever to experience one..
I'll start you off with 'Home' one of the catchiest and most endearing songs I've ever had infiltrate my mind..
here's some great live footage of one of my most favorite songs by them '40 Day Dream'
and then we have 'The Desert Song' which is the first in a 12 part feature-length movie musical.
I'd never been such a pathetic little fan boy as when I ran up to Jade before the show last week started. We ended up hanging out with them for much of the night after the show and I have to say it was #2 in my list of all-time-greatest musical experiences just after The Mars Volta.

they released the next part of the movie did you check it out?
I got my brother into them yesterday on the car ride back up from florida and now Home is his new favorite song.

he's still fucking weirder than ever as well
he got kicked out of the military because they thought in his mental state that he was a threat to the well-being of the other troops around him but he claims they got him confused with someone else who pulled a scene at the firing range.
he smoked weed with me and my dad last weekend in fl
