GTA San Andreas, Soldat (no story, but fun to play, even has online), Warcraft 3, Counter Strike 1.6, Urban Terror, Audiosurf.
There are a ton more, just cannot think of them, tired as balls.

Try Diablo 2 man.
That game is a fucking Time Vampire, I remember in my teen years spending hundreds of hours playing that game.
Half Life is pretty epic, and so is Postal.

Soldat and Urban Terror are free also, all have online beside GTA and Audiosurf.
Half Life is pretty awesome, beat it a few times in my younger years, its a hard story to explain, just wikipedia it or something.
Diablo 2 was cool, I just got tired of it.

Half Life is about a guy who works in an underground science facility, then one day while going to work, they open a crazy ass portal to an alien world and you have to fight your way out of this underground facility and shoot a shit load of aliens.
and save the day of course :P

Haha, Half Life 2 is more in depth with the story. But HL2's operating specs will probably make your hardware have a heart attack.

It's actually freeware now, so that saves me the fear of getting some virus off a bad torrent. I have been through too many computers with my torrent/porn addiction

StarCraft, the original box set. Fuckin gold. BattleNet is still even goin on it and most computers these days should easily be able to handle the graphics on that game.
