Are you a standard bud-in-bowl with hash or kief on top? Or do you just stick that hunk of hash in there? Roll it up with some bud? Light a hunk and leave it under a glass to be sipped out with a sippy-straw?

And finally, vaporization. Most importantly, what temperature?! Also, what method do you use to vaporize it? Just drop a few chunks in? Make a little screen of ground bud and sprinkle hash/kief on top? I personally have a Volcano, it comes with a steel wool screen for vaping honey oil, any thoughts on that?

In others words; how do you personally hash it out?

Well kief is actually "kief" mixed with black tobacco, the terminology is very confused, sorry.

Edit: My bad, I guess technically "kif" is the Moroccan black tobacco and kief mix. I guess kief or "loose hash" is still the best way to describe the UN-pressed trichomes.

I saw that charas is a kind of pressed hash, but I have heard kief refer ed to as charas from a couple different sources.

It's definitely not more or less bubblehash. Charas is palm-rubbed the old fashion way and thus contains more plant material which would presumably make it less potent than full melt bubble passed through several micron screens.
