I just replaced some cfls in my 2x3x7 closet with a 400 watt hps, and after that i had some nutrient deficiency, the plant has stabilized but leaves at the bottom are yellow and the very tips of some leaves are starting to curl, I'm wondering if this could be heat stress or just more nutrient deficiency, it is definitely hotter than it should be but it was fine for the first few weeks when i first put the plant under the 400 watt lamp.

If it's just the leaves at the bottom turning yellow, sounds like it might be near finishing up. If that's the case, a lot of the shade leaves will yellow and might even drop off.
But the tips of the leaves curling coul a number of things, pics would be great.
