dwarfism and paranoia
    #312717 - 11/08/09 09:09 PM (14 years, 4 months ago)

Hey guys ive crossed over from the shroomery , arh wish it would take the posts and reps across and i have no rep around here :frown: .

Anyway, my plants are a foot tall and have been budding for a while 2mths , they are very small i was wonder is it to late to increase its buds in the last couple of weeks? ive harvested one plant with a yield of 2 grams haha what a waste of time. Strain unknown ; bagseed but it shouldnt matter much.

also any ideas if nutes light influence paranoia type of weed , i recently read something bout THC degrading into a CBD (i think it was called) which gives a uneasiness, i wouldnt mind limiting CBD by grow techniques.

Thanks for crossing over and welcome to the growery!!

Do you by chance have pictures?  A fertilizer with low nitrogen and potassium with a higher phosphorus content would help boost bud size!

As far as your question

I use Organic Seaweed on my tomatoes and it really helps.

Never have used it on canny though.

What is the concentrate called??  If you gave us more info on your grow it really would help us give you more information to help your grow be successful i.e. growing medium, type of lights your running, feeding regimen, and frequency, what type of nutes your using including the brand names.

I use Liquid Karma which is a seaweed extract/supplement which is great for plants.  There are many brands out there that work just as well.

As far as the high goes, yes light while your drying your weed will degrade THC down to CBD's etc.  This doesn't really cause paranoia per se, but will give you more of a couch lock stone.  So the obvious ways to avoid this are dry your harvest out in a cool dark area.  One other way is to harvest early, when trichomes are at 25% or so.

Grow medium is good grade soil , lights is 200w cool fluro and 80watt warm white fluro bulb. Feeding is constantly seaweed solution with water. I water when ever the run off bowl is dry usually a day.I believe the nute is called Miragrow seaweed concentrate its a aussie brand from woolies.

I'm not finding anything on the internet about that particular brand of extract.  What size of containers are they in??  They could be severely stunted due to lack of nutes.  Can you post pics??

I think you have a few problems that are going on with your plants.

1. Lack of light
2  Lack of nutrients

That's really crazy that those have been in flower for 2 months, I feel even with just floros they should be further progressed.

Do you know what your soil pH is?  As well as the water you giving it.

Red spectrum is what you want for flowering.  That's why we HPS for flowering when you upgrade to HID's.  Those nutes are not what you want.  Yes they're a good supplement for your pot.  But not as your main nutrient.

You want something more like this.  http://www.generalhydroponics.com/genhydro_US/floranova.html

thanks for the tips , ive put on the red fluro and it adds alot more light and heat into the grow space. I do not think ill continue cultivating since my grow environment is far from suitable , unless it becomes legal hehe. Ill update and let you guys know if anything has improved.
