I've just been wondering how good/bad the green I can get where I live is compared to the rest of the earth haha. I've only been smoking for about 2 years now but ive managed to come across some decent local sources. Nothing insane like the majority of people on here ( rock on ) but I can get some pretty damn good stuff.

Where are you coming from? you've got to be at least somewhat adjusted before you move into
Summit county is fucking gorgeous. The most 14ers in the state, and seriously a couple thousand mountains, plus, the entire valley floor is at like 9,000 feet, so you get some good old altitude fun!. SO fucking amazing. I'm assuming you'll be in either Salida or Buena Vista? love them both, seriously can't go wrong if you legitimately love mountains.
Steamboat is expensive as shit. awesome ass town, and literally the fluffiest powder in the world so unbelievable skiing, but it's jam packed with celebrities and fags from hollywood, so the price of living reflects that.
Crested butte is where you want to be if you're a ski bum. 4 world-cup championship runs on just one mountain. plus, you're just a stones throw away from some of the most absurd skiing you'll ever see in your life. Celebrities ski here too, but not hollywood fags, just the nastiest shredders alive. Warning though; my friend who lived in CB called me at least 6 or 7 times every winter to brag that he was in the coldest place on the whole planet. beautiful, but fucking frigid. I walked home from a bar in negative 40 degree weather while I was visiting and none of the locals saw anything surprising about the weather

I'm coming from north Texas.
I was living in my van in CB for about a month this summer so I'm familiar with that area. Beautiful! but it's such a small place and so remote, I'm wondering if you can find much bud out there? not sure how the herb scene is in CB. If it's plentiful, that might be the town for me. A job would be harder to find there, and that could be a problem..
As far as summit county I was thinking more Vail area.
I'm going out there to ski bum for awhile, but I'm having a hard time finding the right place for me. I was attracted to Vail because of the slopes, but some say it sucks while others say it's amazing.. but I'm not sure the town of Vail is for me. maybe breck as it seems more laid back.
I was looking into Steamboat for the powder, and I've read that yeah it is on the expensive side but not as high class as vail and aspen and still has that small town feel to it where people actually live rather than just migrate from denver to ski. Also read the herb is easy to find there.
CB and Steamboat are lookin' good
