New element to this thread-
If weed were legalized, I bet that this kind of drug would become more popular than the plant itself. People on this site love the ganja plant, but a lot of people would smoke synthetic cannabis imitations if they were cheaper and got you fucked up. What do y'all think? This is assuming that both these synthetic drugs and cannabis were legal.

I dunno, i like the effects from JWH, but to be honest there's no ritual to it. Part of the experience of smoking herb is smelling it, tasting it, breaking it up and packing it down, coughing up a lung etc. You just don't get that with the JWH. It's like breathing air, then 10 mins later you're stoned. Even vaping weed has a taste, a feel, and you get to handle the herb.
I'd take a bowl of chron over the JWH any day, but if someone offered me a bowl of JWH I wouldn't turn it down

Yes, but this is true for any research chemical you ingest. With any drug you take, you take a risk. Even cannabis.

agreed. It's the sticky icky! those rcs got nothin on it. I bet it would fizzle out as a fade. Cannabis has a long detailed history.

maybe, maybe not. If it manages to stick around undetected I'm sure it will hold some popularity. I'm already planning on buying a gram, it's nice to have around if you're broke or there's nothing in town to smoke. Then at least you have the option of being sober or using the JWH

Synthetic stuff will be cheaper, less harsh to smoke, and have very consistent types of high. I would not touch the stuff regardless of legality, it's just a fear i have if weed is legalized.

The fear I have is that they will just make THC pills and then say you cant "smoke" pot but you can take a THC pill if you have such serious pains.

Sorry Trip you are being sarcastic right? People don't like marinol b/c it does not kick in as fast as smoking. If they made smokable marinol, a lot of people would prefer that to weed.

They should make Topical or sublingual Marinol.  I would still smoke bud if they made marinol smokeable.

Ahh but there is a significant distinction- Marinol is made in a lab totally synthetic, whereas sativex is made from cannabis extracts.
