I get this one a lot and I'm sure others have to but I was deep in thought on pod tea and lots of weed and was just thinking how the fuck did language start? Like who was the first person/people to sit down and be like ok this sound means this that sound means that etc. And then the alphabet how did someone figure out that 27 letters are all thats needed to make endless combinations of words and every word that we use. Plus there are other types of languages too wtf?? Im realy high and this might sound stupid but its just crazy to me.

FIRST OF ALL...there's 26 letters in the alphabet and yes, there ARE other types of language. (spanish, french, italian, german, chinese, etc.)

Well, for a long time (and many people still)believe that language is what sets us apart from other animals. If you ever get the chance to read a book called (i think) the elephant and the octopus, there have been many studies on dolphin communication that show dolphins have a detailed language system, and likely whales too.
I think the problem with humans is sometimes, if we can't understand something, we just decide to believe it doesnt exist, or that it doesn't apply. LOL.
