Purplis/Bloody colored solo nug?
    #265821 - 08/15/09 09:33 PM (14 years, 7 months ago)

This picture is of only 1 nug-tip with discoloration like this. This color is NOWHERE else on the plant, and showed up on the end of the node, halfway up the plants full length.

She was last fed 6 days ago. What's up with that?

This is the rest of A1.

No discoloration anywhere except that one lone nugget. I've never really seen it so very isolated before. I am checking it later to see if it has spread or changed at all.

odd, it could be a minor genetic tweak.  If the problem spreads to the rest of your plant it could be a sign of a nutrient deficiency.

What's the night time temps in your area?  Temps below 70 degrees can also purple your plant, although I'm thinking if this were the case more bud sites would be affected.

The color has faded a bit, the bud looked fairly healthy, but compared to the other nugs on the plant, They being 9's this was more like a seven.

What I did find though, between the first two nugs, was a web/nest. Fuckin spider monkeys! I didn't see this anywhere else, but the strain is fucking huge and surrounded by thorn bushes and shit, so the inspection was not 100%

Oh well. I clipped off and quarantined 4" to the tip. It is pretty, but waaay too immature for anything nice. Besides, the nutes weren't leached out either.

Well...the clipped nugget, though impotent at a young flower age, was cremated with my bic, after a short wait of drying out.
:getstoned:
She tasted pretty good, nice and smooth, burned all right and tasted good. It had been roughly 5 days since the last nute feeding. Looked very kind after the pitils redded out. There was very little trichome action, but she smelled fucking AWESOME!
:yoda2:

I can't wait to put the rest of her more mature sisters in the furnace!
